Support David’s epic ultra-marathons
This year, The Stoll Foundation supporter David will take on not one but two gruelling ultra-marathons to raise money for our veteran housing and support services.
David Westwood, a Grenadier Guards veteran and property developer with TWHM Development Ltd, will take on two enormous challenges this year as he tackles the 300km coast-to-coast Northern Traverse race in April, followed by the 380km Dragon’s Back race in September which covers the length of Wales.
After months of training and hard work, David will begin his first ultra-marathon this weekend to raise money for The Stoll Foundation’s life-changing work providing supported housing to veterans and their families.
“I served in the Grenadier Guards and was lucky—my transition back to civilian life was smooth. But not everyone’s that fortunate. As a property developer, I see firsthand how vital housing is to rebuilding a life. Veterans shouldn’t fall through the cracks just because they’re trained to stay quiet and carry on. Stoll’s been doing this work for over 100 years, and they deserve more recognition. I’m running the 300km Northern Traverse to raise awareness, raise funds, and support fellow veterans who still need it.”
