Urgent help

We don’t provide emergency shelter or support. If you’re facing a crisis and need immediate help, please contact one of the following organisations:

  • If you need housing advice please call Shelter’s free housing advice helpline, which is available Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm on 0808 800 4444.
  • If you’re a veteran facing homelessness, please contact Op FORTITUDE on Freephone 0800 952 0774 or visit the Op FORTITUDE website.
  • If you’re in crisis please call Veterans’ Aid on Freephone 0800 012 6867 or 020 7828 2468. Lines are open Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.
  • If you need help with a mental health issue, please call the Combat Stress 24-hour helpline on 0800 138 1619. Alternatively, you can call the Samaritans on their free 24-hour helpline. Dial 116 123 from any phone.
  • The Royal British Legion has a Contact Centre available 8am-8pm, seven days a week on 0808 802 8080.
